CLARK FORK RIVERBANK
During the Summer of 2019, damage to a part of the riverbank, due to a faulty sprinkler head, resulted in conversations with the Missoula Conservation District about mitigating that and other issues with our portion of the riverbank. Thanks to homeowners Douglas Kleiger and David Zinke, the HOA has gained valuable insight about what we can do to take care of the riverbank. It is necessary for each homeowner and resident to understand what we can do to take care of this vital piece of our property. Here are two documents that are of importance for us:
- Permits/Approvals
- Cobblestone Riverbank Review and Report - describes plants on riverbank (2019), actions each homeowner/resident needs to take, and recommendations for stabilizing the riverbank.
- Healthy Riparian Guide - a guide from the Missoula Conservation District that discusses how to manage riverbank areas such as ours.
